Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes the options Jordan Hendersonoffers make him an ideal player to take to a World Cup.
The 23-year-old has just earned a recall from national team boss Roy Hodgson for the forthcoming friendlies against Chile and Germany at Wembley.
"It's a big credit to him that I have been able to play him in a couple of positions because he is that type of player that he can play in those positions really well," said the Reds boss.
"If you are going to a World Cup you need players who can play in a number of positions. He can do that."
